Of the thousands of barrels sampled each year only a limited number of casks which have reached their peak of perfection are chosen for release and this Balblair 1991 captures the very essence of Balblair

Balblair is normally associated with clean and sweet fruity flavours and these are here in abundance. But there is a a hint of more savoury influence here too. Plenty of crystallised yellow fruit but the malt is balanced by an oakier base.
