The Octomore ‘Futures’ was the first release from Bruichladdich's cult favourite mega-peated spirit. Upon its release, it was the most heavily peated whisky produced in the world at 80.5ppm - though Octomore now goes higher than 200ppm! This rare 5 year old Islay single malt was distilled at Bruichladdich on the 16th October 2002 and bottled in April 2008 under the Octomore label. Matured exclusively in Buffalo Trace Bourbon casks, this is one of an estimated 9600 bottles. Back to top
