Distilled at The Lakes Distillery in Cumbria, this release is part of the Whiskymaker's Editions series which showcases the distilleries whisky maker's sense of adventure in terms of cask selection, maturation and blending. This release was exclusively for the Italian market and was made in collaboration with Bacchanalia restaurant in London. This expression was put down to mature in a combination of ex-Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez casks an undisclosed length of time before being bottled at a strength of 46.7% abv. free from chill filtration.
