Lindores Abbey Thiron 2024 Description
Distilled in the Lowlands at Lindores Abbey distillery, this is the first release in an annual series of limited edition bottlings from the distillery. For this release, the team travelled to Thiron-Gardais in France in 2016 to learn more about the birthplace of the monks who founded Lindores Abbey. This expression has been matured for an undisclosed period of time in a combination of handcrafted casks using wood sourced from Thiron-Gardais along with rejuvenated red wine barriques & bourbon casks before being bottled at a strength of 49.4% abv.
