Balvenie 12 Year Old DoubleWood Description
First launched in 1993, The Balvenie 12 Year Old DoubleWood was created by Malt Master David C. Stewart. Whisky matured for at least 12 years in American oak ex-bourbon casks is then transferred to Spanish oak Oloroso sherry casks for a further nine months finishing, before being married together in tuns for three to four months. The result has proved popular with whisky lovers for more than a quarter of a century. Back to top
