Bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for their Reserve series of single cask expressions, this Speyside single malt was distilled at 'the beast of Dufftown', Mortlach distillery, in December 1998. Matured in a first fill bourbon barrel for more than a decade, it was bottled in 2010 at a natural cask strength of 59% abv especially for McBain's of Dufftown a local licensed grocer established in 1969.
