Taking its name from the River Spey, this 'Fine Old Scotch Whisky' is a blended Scotch that has malt whisky from the Glen Spey distillery at the heart of the blend. This famous blend was launched by W&A Gilbey's in the early 20th century and advertisements from the 1920s claimed the blend included malt from 'the best distilleries in Glenlivet', listed as Glen Spey, Strathmill and Knockando.
