Octomore 2018 5 Year Old Edition 15.1 Description
Distilled on the Isle of Islay at Bruichladdich distillery, Octomore is the name given to the super heavily peated range they produce. This expression was distilled in 2018 using 100% Scottish mainland Concerto barley that has been peated to 108.2ppm. The spirit was then put down to mature in a combination of first fill bourbon barrels and re-charred ex-bourbon casks. Part of a limited edition release, this whisky has been bottled free from chill filtration and artificial colourings at a strength of 59.1% abv. Back to top
