The Isle of Arran on the Firth of Clyde was once notorious for illicit distillation and smuggling, eventually with the excise men catching up it meant the island went without a distillery in production since 1837. Then, in 1995 Arran distillery at Lochranza started their production. This blended Scotch was released to only the Founder's Bondholder's and was bottled at 40% abv. Back to top
