Distilled at Bruichladdich on Islay, this super heavily peated expression is part of the Octomore range. Crafted exclusively using Scottish grown Optic barley and peated to 167ppm. It has been matured entirely on Islay for a decade in a combination of bourbon, cognac, port and virgin oak casks before there being only 12,000 bottles produced, free from chill filtration and colouring at 56.8% abv.
