Karuizawa 17 Year Old Description
Karuizawa distillery was founded in 1956 where the distillery was 850m above sea level making it the highest in Japan. It was then, unfortunately, mothballed in 2000, with it later being completely demolished in 2016. This expression is a marriage of sherry matured whiskies, peated and unpeated, with spirit between 17 and 31 years old. It has been presented in a decanter style bottle at 40% abv. Back to top
