Taketsuru 12 Year Old Description
Distilled in Japan, Taketsuru is Nikka's range of blended malts which takes its name from the founder, Masataka Taketsuru. Masataka travelled to Scotland in 1918 and enrolled in University of Glasgow but, in 1919, he began an apprenticeship at Longmorn in Speyside later working in a few other distilleries before return to Japan in 1920 with his wife.
