Bunnahabhain 1978 39 Year Old Elements Description
This incredibly limited edition from Islay's Bunnahabhain distillery was laid down in 1978 and matured for almost four decades in refill casks. Master Blender, Kirsty McCallum, hand-selected these casks to be re-racked in her own personal Spanish sherry octaves for six months. Bottled at the grand age of 39 years old, this first release in the Elements series is presented at a strength of 43.2% abv in a wave-inspired crystal decanter that has been hand-filled by Bunnahabhain's senior blender. Only a handful of this unique Islay single malt have been produced worldwide. Back to top
