Released as part of Chivas' distillery reserve collection which is a range of whiskies which were specifically designed to be something a little bit different to the core expressions. Distilled at the now closed Caperdonich this peated whisky from them was distilled in 1996 and has spent over two decades in a 2nd fill barrel before there being 300 bottles produced at cask strength free from chill filtration.
