An interesting release from Swedish experimental distillery Mackmyra, Special 04 has been double matured initially in large bourbon barrels with the second maturation period being in smaller, handmade 30 litre casks. This whisky has been matured in the Bodås mine 50 metres underground before being bottled in 2010 at a strength of 53% abv. Back to top
