Macallan 22 Year Old SMWS 24 - Jazz Trio Description
Distilled at the Macallan distillery in Speyside, this trio of expressions were bottled by independent bottler Scotch Malt Whisky Society. This trio have been producing using the same mother cask with the whisky spending the first 20 years in the same Oloroso sherry puncheon before then being split into first fill sherry hogshead, first fill Pedro Ximenez hogshead and a second fill bourbon barrel where they were matured individually for a further two years. The expressions were named 24.134 "A dark allurement" which is one of 225 bottles, 24.135 "An opulent temptation" which is one of 241 bottles and 24.136 "A sweet seduction" which is one of 218 bottles.
