Glenmorangie distillery prides itself on experimental releases and this Madeira Wood Finish is just that. A highly sought-after expression, the liquid was initially matured in American Oak before being finished in large Madeira wood casks. The distillery is named after the Glen of Morangie Burn, which translates to “glen of great tranquillity”, and as well as being known for its wide range of interesting cask finishes, is home to the tallest stills in Scotland.
