Amrut Single Cask #1277 Herald Description
Distilled at the Bangalore based distillery using un-peated malted barley sourced from the foothills of the Himalayas. This expression is a single cask which after an initial maturation of at least three years in India, was then sent 5,000 miles to Helgoland which is an island 45 miles north of the German coast. Once arriving there, it spent a further 18 months maturing, which is a first in the history of the island. There were just 142 bottles produced at a strength of 59.6% abv. Back to top
