Amrut Spectrum 004 - Canada's 150th Anniversary Description
This bottling of Amrut Spectrum 004 was designated as an exclusive for the Canadian market, celebrating the 150th anniversary of the country's founding in 1867. Only 180 bottles were produced from cask 4119 for this purpose and each one labelled as such on the reverse of the bottle. Spectrum 004 was matured initially in an ex-bourbon barrel before being transferred to a custom built barrel, created with staves from four different wood varieties: American oak with level three charring, French oak with slight toasting, Oloroso sherry and Pedro Ximenes sherry.
