An interesting release from Swedish experimental distillery Mackmyra, Special 05 has been matured in several different cask types. This whisky has been matured in the Bodås mine 50 metres underground with it being finished in casks that have been saturated with lingonberry wine before being bottled in 2005 at a strength of 47.2% abv.
