This limited edition blended whisky was produced by Whyte & Mackay Distillers for Spirit Of Scotland Trophy which was an award devised by the International Wine & Spirit Competition to commemorate the 500th anniversary in 1994, which was also IWSC's 25th anniversary. There was the 7 influential Scotch whisky companies who produced a special blend for the occasion. This blended whisky has been created using a blend of 20-25 year old whiskies which has been matured in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks. The components were married together in 1993 when there were just 500 bottles produced at a strength of 43% abv. Back to top
