This limited edition blended whisky was produced by Inver House Distillers for Spirit Of Scotland Trophy which was an award devised by the International Wine & Spirit Competition to commemorate the 500th anniversary in 1994, which was also IWSC's 25th anniversary. There was the 7 influential Scotch whisky companies who produced a special blend for the occasion. The Quintessential blended whisky was created using various malt and grain whiskies from Scotland and has been laid down to mature for over two decades.
