Distilled at the Springbank distillery in Campbeltown, this release was bottled for the China Single Malt Club. 'The Door Gods' refer to a Chinese custom where households are decorated to bring happiness & luck. The first edition in the series showcases two single malts distilled in 1994 with there being 246 bottles produced at 52.2% abv. & 1995 with there being 264 bottles produced at 50.9% abv. They were both laid down in fresh port hogsheads for almost two decades before being bottled in 2013 at cask strength. Back to top
