Springbank 2001 Rundlets & Kilderkins Description
Distilled at Springbank distillery in Campbeltown, this limited edition bottling was matured for just over a decade using smaller casks called Kilderkin or Rundlet which hold 60 & 80 litres respectively and this meaning the whisky gets more interaction with the wood during maturation. Bottled in early 2012, it is free from chill filtration and bottled at 49.4% abv. Back to top
