Distilled at the Auchroisk distillery in Speyside, this release was produced as part of the 2012 Special Releases which Diageo bring out annually. This particular expression was laid down in a combination of American and European oak casks for at least three decades. There were just 2,976 individually numbered bottles produced at a natural cask strength of 54.7% abv.
