Glenlivet Archive Description
Distilled at Glenlivet distillery in Speyside, it was the first distillery that got a legal license after the Excise Act of 1823 and was a favourite with King George IV. This older style expression was matured for an undisclosed length of time and was chosen from the Archive by the then distillery manager Bill Lamb.
