Distilled at Macallan distillery in Craigellachie, after previously being discontinued, the rare cask is now being released in smaller batches. This particular expression is the second batch released in 2019. It has been created by drawing whisky from less than 1% of the casks that are currently maturing at Macallan with this release being matured for an undisclosed length of time in European sherry butts.
