Distilled at the Bruichladdich distillery on Islay, Port Charlotte is the heavily peated whisky they produce at the distillery with this bottling being released as part of the cask exploration series. This expression was distilled in 2004 and has spent a decade in a Cadiz wine cask before there were just 414 bottles produced at a strength of 61.4% abv. free from chill filtration and artificial colouring.
