Distilled at the Glasgow Distillery in Hillington, the distillery was opened up in 2014 by Liam Hughes, Mike Hayward and Ian McDougall when they started production of Makar gin. Laying down their first casks in 2015, this is the 2019 release of 1770 which has been matured in first fill ex-bourbon casks being finished in virgin oak casks.
