Glasgow Distillery Co. 1770 Peated Release No.1 Description
Distilled at the Glasgow Distillery in Hillington, the distillery was opened up in 2014 by Liam Hughes, Mike Hayward and Ian McDougall when they started production of Makar gin. Laying down their first casks in 2015, the first release of 1770 came out in 2018. This peated release has been matured in first fill sherry butts before being transferred for finishing to virgin oak casks. It has been bottled free from chill filtration and artificial colourings at a strength of 46% abv. Back to top
