Distilled at the Glasgow Distillery in Hillington, the distillery was opened up in 2014 by Liam Hughes, Mike Hayward and Ian McDougall when they started production of Makar gin. Laying down their first casks in 2015, the first release of 1770 came out in 2018. This triple distilled release of 1770 has been laid down to mature in virgin oak casks before being bottled free from chill filtration at artificial colourings at a strength of 46% abv. Back to top
