Distilled at the Glasgow Distillery in Hillington, the distillery was opened up in 2014 by Liam Hughes, Mike Hayward and Ian McDougall when they started production of Makar gin. Laying down their first casks in 2015, this is a special cask strength release for the German drinks importer Kirsch Import. This expression has been matured in a sherry butt for an undisclosed period before being bottled free from chill filtration and artificial colourings at a natural cask strength of 62.1% abv.
