Distilled at the Glasgow distillery, this release is a collaboration between them and the US-based Kelvin Cooperage, celebrating the skill of coopering. This expression was initially laid down in an ex-port cask in 2015 before the spirit was moved to a hand-build cask which was made from half heavily charred virgin oak staves from the Kelvin Cooperage and half ex-Glasgow 1770 malt cask staves. Matured for a little over five years, there were just 403 bottles produced at a strength of 53.3% abv. free from chill filtration and artificial colouring. Back to top
