Macallan 2008 12 Year Old SMWS 24.156 Description
Distilled in Speyside at the Macallan distillery, this expression was bottled by independent bottler Scotch Malt Whisky Society. Distilled in 2008, it was then laid down initially to mature in ex-Oloroso sherry butts before being transferred to first fill ex-Pedro Ximenez hogshead for finishing, for a total maturation time of 12 years. One of just 332 bottles produced, this expression has been given the name "Utterly Unctuous". Back to top
