Distilled at the Balvenie distillery in Speyside, the Tun 1509 series follows the hugely successful Tun 1401 series. Produced from a much bigger vatting of casks, this expression has been created using 32 casks having been created by a marriage of 23 American oak casks and nine European oak sherry casks which have been combined and left to mature as one for a few months before bottling.
