Balblair 1991 3rd Release Description
Distilled at the Balblair distillery in Edderton, near Tain, this release was part of the distilleries vintage releases they produced prior to the age statement releases which were launched in 2019. This expression was laid down in 1991 and has spent over two decades maturing initially in American oak ex-bourbon casks before being put into Spanish oak ex-sherry butts. This 3rd release bottling was bottled in 2018 at a strength of 46% abv. free from chill filtration and artificial colouring. Back to top
