Now owned by William Grant & Sons, the Three Barrels brand dates back to 1814 when it was founded as the Pinet Casillion Company. From 1947 it was marketed as Three Barrels Brandy whilst elsewhere, it was sold as Rayanal. This is the VSOP expression has been matured for at least four years before it has been bottled at 40% abv.
