Distilled at the Michter's distillery which is located in Louisville, who have spent years doing research on various barrel finishes for their whisky. This expression has been matured initially in American white oak before it was then transferred to a toasted barrel which was constructed from 24 month air dried wood before being bottled at 54.4% abv.
