Distilled on the Isle of Islay at Bruichladdich distillery, Port Charlotte is the heavily peated range of whisky produced by the distillery. This release has been bottled by independent bottlers Dramfool as part of their Jim McEwan Signature Collection. This expression was distilled in 2007 and put down to mature in a first fill Pomerol wine cask for 13 years before there were just 299 bottles produced free from chill filtration and artificial colourings at a natural cask strength of 60.9% abv.
