Distilled on the Isle of Islay at Caol Ila distillery, this release has been bottled by independent bottlers the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. This 15 year old expression was distilled in 2006 and was put down to mature first in an ex-bourbon hogshead, before spending some time maturing in a first fill ex-Pedro Ximenez sherry hogshead. Part of a limited release of 227 bottles, this whisky has been bottled under the name "Exotic, Dark & Medicinal". Back to top
