Distilled by Japanese distillers Nikka, this whisky was first created in 1965 when the distillers at Nikka were seeking to make a whisky suitable to Japanese palate. This 40th anniversary edition is a blend of malt whiskies produced at the Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries along with other grain whiskies, which have been aged for over 12 years and bottled at a strength of 42% abv.
