Distilled at Woodford Reserve distillery in Kentucky, this release forms part of the distillery's core range products. This expression has been triple distilled and in aged in charred American white oak as with the standard bourbon expression, however it has then been selected to be aged a second time in a fresh charred American white oak barrel before being bottled at a strength of 43.2% abv.
