Distilled in Speyside at Balvenie distillery, this release follows on from the success of Balvenie's 17 year old Madeira finished whisky. This expression was put down to mature in oak casks for at least 21 years before being transferred for a finishing period to casks which previously held Portuguese Madeira fortified wine. The whisky has then been bottled at a strength of 40% abv. Back to top
