Distilled at the Suntory owned Miyagikyo distillery, which is situated near the capital city of Miyagi Prefecture, Sendai. Miyagikyo is the least peated whisky of the Nikka single malts. This expression blends together vintages from across the decade drawing on whiskies distilled in the year 2000 through to 2009. These have been married together and bottled at a strength of 57% abv.
