Distilled at Macallan distillery in Craigellachie, after previously being discontinued, the rare cask is now being released in smaller batches. This particular expression is the 2022 release which has been created by drawing whisky from less than 1% of the casks that are currently maturing at Macallan with a high proportion of first fill sherry casks.
