Lagg 2022 Inaugural Releases Description
Distilled on the Isle of Arran at Lagg distillery, this auction lot contains the complete set of the distillery's inaugural releases. These heavily peated expressions were crafted using Concerto barley peated to 50 ppm and put down to mature in ex bourbon barrels, with batch 2 spending a 6 month finishing period in Oloroso sherry casks, and batch 3 spending 6 months finishing in ex-Rioja red wine charred casks. There was 10,000 bottles produced of each release with these whiskies having all been bottled free from chill filtration and artificial colourings at a strength of 50% abv. Back to top
