Distilled in Speyside at Balvenie distillery, this is an older release of their popular Portwood expression. This whisky was distilled in 1989 and was put down to mature in oak for an undisclosed length of time. Firstly in traditional American oak casks before being transferred to a second maturation to Portuguese oak port pipes. The whisky was then bottled at a strength of 40% abv. Back to top
