Distilled at the Highland Park distillery on Orkney, the proceeds from this release will support the restoration of the Hall of Clestrain which was John Rae's childhood home in Orphir. This 17 year old expression was created by master whisky maker, Gordon Motion, who selected predominantly ex-bourbon & refill casks along with a smaller quantity of sherry seasoned American & European oak casks which were married together in 2019 for the final 2 years of maturation before being bottled at 54.8% abv.
