Ardbeg Committee Releases x3 Description
Distilled on the Isle of Islay at Ardbeg distillery, this lot contains 3 special releases available to the Ardbeg Committee. Arrrrrrrdbeg was produced as a send off to Mickey Heads who had been distillery manager and committee chair for 13 years, it was laid down to mature wholly in ex-rye whiskey casks before being bottled at 51.8% abv. Scorch was matured in heavy charred ex-bourbon American oak casks for an undisclosed length of time before being bottled at a strength of 51.7% abv. Ardcore was produced as an experimental release using black malt barley and matured for an undisclosed length of time before bottled at a strength of 50.1% abv. Back to top
