Distilled in the Highlands at Loch Lomond distillery, this release forms part of the distillery's The Open Course Collection. Distilled in 1999, this expression celebrates the 150th Open championship at St Andrews and was put down to mature in oak for 22 years. Firstly in American oak casks for 19 years, before being transferred for finishing to Haut-Medoc Claret barriques for a further 36 months. Part of a limited release of 4,000 bottles, this whisky was bottled free from chill filtration and artificial colourings at a cask strength of 48.2% abv. Back to top
